Subsequent to decedent's death,your Petitioner has paid the su�o�$3,87�8 t�' � the Hoffinan Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover - - Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 17013, for funeral services and related services from her personal funds. 5. A copy of the paid receipt for the services as described in paragraph 6 above, is atta.ched hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit"B". 6. Petitioner has agreed to pay, from her own resources, for the costs of services provided by Attorney Bradley L. Griffie, Esquire, and the law firm of Griffie & Associates, P.C., for the processing of the within esta.te, the filing of a Pennsylvania lnheritance Tax Return, the filing of the within Petition and, if necessary,related services to close and resolve decedent's esta.te. 7. At the time of Decedent's death, Decedent was not seized of any probate assets, with the exception of a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe valued at $2,008.00 as per the Kelley Blue Book value evidenced on Exhibit"C", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 8. As previously noted, Petitioner has paid or agreed to pay from her personal assets the following expenses: Hof&nan Roth Funeral Home& Crematory, Inc. Amount Paid- $3,873.18 Attomey's Fees(Cmffie&Associates) Amount Paid$1,500.00 (estimated) Probate Fees/Filing Fees Amount Paid$150.00 (estimated) TOTAL: $5,023.18 10. As such, Petitioner has paid a11 known debts associated with decedent's deatll and the processing of matters related to decedent's estate, from Petitioner's personal assets, less the value of the decedent's 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe which Petitioner has retained. 11. Petitioner has reviewed statements from the creditors and collection representatives set forth in paragraph 7 above relative to debts of Decedent still outstanding. � 12. There are no additional probate assets of which Petitioner is aware which could be included in decedent's esta.te. 13. Any and a11 assets in which Decedent had an interest passed to joint owners by operation of law or directly to named beneficiaries. 14. The Decedent's immediate heirs are his wife, your Petitioner herein, and his da.ughter, Caitlyn R. Harlin. 15. There are no probate assets from which to pay the decedent's debts, nor the cost of processing this esta.te, nor the fees and costs associated with decedent's death, and,thus,there are no probate assets to distribute to the decedent's beneficiaries. 16. The passing of any such non-probate assets has no affect upon decedent's estate as those assets passed directly to any named beneficiaries. 17. As this is an insolvent esta.te, there is no inheritance tax due to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for any probate or non-probate assets, as confirmed by the Notice of Appraisement received from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Revenue, said Notice being atta.ched hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit"C". 18. To Petitioner's knowledge, there are no other parties to whom benefits from the within estate would be due. 19. To Petitioner's knowledge, there are no individuals entitled to receive distribution or payment of any items referenced in Section 3101 of the P.E.F. Code, nor have any individuals received such benefits or assets referenced therein. 20. Petitioner's and decedent's da.ughter is aware of the facts set forth herein, will receive a copy of this Petition and concurs in this Petition. 21. This esta.te has assets, exclusive of real estate, totaling less than $50,000.00 and, therefore, may be resolved pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S. Section 3102 through the filing of the within Petition for Settlement of a Sma11 Esta.te. WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests your Honorable Court to issue a Rule upon the named creditors, and their collection representatives, to show cause, if any they have, as to why the claims of the Decedent's creditors set forth in paragraph 7 above should not be extinguished, voided and vacated, thereby terminating a11 collection activities relative to said debts.
