MOTION TO MAKE RULE ABSOLUTE
AND NOW comes Linda J. Olsen, Esquire and files the within Motion to Make Rule
Absolute, and in support hereof, respectfully represents as follows:
1. On December 18, 2013, Linda J. Olsen, Esquire ("Hazen") filed a Petition for
Leave to Withdraw (`Petition") as counsel for the Estate of Edna G. Hall ("Estate").
2. A copy of the Petition was sent by First Class Mail to Kristine E. Miner and R.
Marshall Hall, Co-Executors of the Estate (`Executors") on December 17, 2013.
3. The Petition was filed in response to notification by the Executors of their
decision to proceed without counsel, as set forth in letter dated December 9, 2013, attached as
Exhibit "A" to the Petition.
4. As set forth in the December 9, 2013 letter, the Co-Executors consented to and
joined in the relief requested in the Petition.
5. On December 23, 2013, this Honorable Court issued a Rule to Show Cause,
returnable 20 days from the date of service, instructing all parties to show cause, if any exists,
why the Petition should not be granted.

6. On December 30, 2013, copies of the Rule to Show Cause were mailed to the
Executors in accordance with Pa. R.C.P. 440(a)(2)(i) at the addresses set forth in the Rule to
Show Cause Distribution list.
7. The time for parties in interest to show cause why Hazen's Petition should not be
granted expired on January 20, 2014.
8. No objections have been filed with the Cumberland County Court of Common
Pleas.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Court enter its Order making the
December 23, 2013 Rule absolute and granting Hazen's Petition for Leave to Withdraw as
Counsel in the above-captioned action.
