PETITION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
AND NOW, comes Robert P. Kline,Esquire, court-appointed auditor in the above-
captioned matter,who respectfully states as follows:
I. Robert P. Kline, Esquire, was appointed auditor in the above-captioned matter by
Order of the Honorable Thomas A. Placey on January 6, 2014.
2. Pursuant to Pennsylvania Orphans' Court Rule 8.2, the auditor is required to file
his report within ninety(90) days after his appointment. Said ninety days will expire on or about
April 6, 2014.
3. A pre-hearing conference was held in the office of the auditor on February 10,
2014. At said pre-hearing conference, Craig A. Diehl,Esquire, counsel for the Objectant,
requested that the hearing in this matter be scheduled for some time after April 15,2014, so that
it would occur after the current tax season. Bradley L. Griffie, Esquire, counsel for the Executrix
of the Estate,concurred with this request.
4. The hearing in this matter has been scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2014, at 9:30
AM.
WHEREFORE, in order to allow time for the auditor to obtain a transcript and prepare
his report following the hearing on May 5, 2014, as well as to account for any now unforeseen
delays or continuances,the auditor respectfully requests that this Court extend the limit
contained in Rule 8.2 from 90 days to 180 days.
