IN RE: APPOINTMENT QF GUARDIAN AD LITEM
ORDER OF COURT
ANQ NOW, this 28th day of February 2014, the court upon review of the hearing
notes and further review of the file, which indicates that there is no Guardian Ad Litem,
the medical interrogatories were short declarative statements, not sentences, and no
doctor testified, together with a now an unknown amount of money being in a M&T Bank
account, the court sua sponte appoints Michael A. Scherer, Esquire, as Guardian Ad '
Litem to review and report back his findings to the court.
The temporary order previously issued shall remain in full force; however, it will
not be made permanent until the Guardian Ad Litem report is submitted. Specifically
the Guardian Ad Litem is to meet with Ms. Shughart at the Church of God Home,
determine if she is capable of interacting at a hearing and if she wants to speak with #he
judge prior to a final decision. Further, the Guardian Ad Litem is to make inquiry into the
balance of the identified bank account, any prior power of attorney �ccount
reconciliation, and any other current estate assets.

The Guardian Ad Litem shall be paid by the County at the proscribed rate, unless
otherwise directed by the court.
