Harlin, by and through her counsel, Bradley L. Griffie, Esquire, and the law firm of Griffc & Associates, P.C., and petitions the Court as follows: 1. Your Petitioner is Jean V. Harlin, an adult individual whose address is 1008 Centerville Road, Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and who is represented in these proceedings by Bradley L. Griffie, Esquire and the law firm of Griffie & Associates, P.C., at 200 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 17013. 2. Petitioner is the widow of the above named decedent, James D. Harlin, Jr., who died on April 20, 2013, a resident of Penn Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 3. In her capacity as Administratrix of the estate of James D. Harlin, Jr., Petitioner filed a Petition for Settlement of a Small Estate pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S.A. §3102, on January 24, 2014. 4. Your Honorable Court entered an Order of Court and Rule to Show Cause dated January 28, 2014 pursuant to the Petition for Settlement of a Small Estate. 5. True and attested copies of the Order of Court and Rule to Show Cause were forwarded to all named creditors and named representatives of creditors as described in the within Petitions and subsequent Certificates of Service that have been filed in this matter, reflecting the fact that a true and attested copy of the Order of Court and Rule to Show Cause was served by regular mail upon the said creditors and creditor representatives by correspondence dated February 4, 2014. 6. Your Honorable Court's, prior Order of January 28, 2014 provided the named creditors and collection representatives of the creditors to respond to the Rule within twenty (20) days of service by first class mail, postage prepaid. 7. More than thirty-five (35) days have passed since the aforesaid correspondence was forwarded to the creditors and collection representatives and no response has been filed to the Rule. 8. It is appropriate to make the Rule absolute in that no timely responses have been filed. WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests your Honorable Court to enter an Order of Court making the prior Rule absolute, thereby confirming the estate as filed with no additional distributions to creditors, representatives of creditors or heirs, and, pursuant to the Rule, Ordering that the claims of the creditors and collection representatives involved are extinguished, voided and vacated.
