RE: Rule 6.12 Status Reports
Dear Register:
It has come to my attention that recent staffing issues in our office have caused a Rule 6.12
Status Report to be sent to your office that contained the incorrect caption for the substance of the
form.
On March 24, 2014 you entered into the record a Rule 6.12 Status Report into the Estate of
Donald C. Saylor, File Number 2002-00224. The caption on this Report was prepared incorrectly.
It should have been for the Estate of Dale F. Shughart, Jr., File Number 2010-00326. There was a
Report filed in the Saylor Estate on March 5, 2014, which was correct.
For this reason, I enclose a Rule 6.12 Status Report for the Estate of Dale F. Shughart, Jr. to
be filed immediately upon your receipt. Additionally, it is respectfully requested that you remove
the filing on March 24, 2014 of the Report that was filed into the Estate of Donald C. Saylor, File
Number 2002-00224, which was the incorrect duplicate.
Please accept my apologies for this confusion and rest assured that steps have been taken to
be sure this type of error will not happen again in the future. I appreciate your assistance in this
matter so that we can keep the record correct.
