Defendant <c r MUNICIPAL LIEN AND NOW, this 21 day of April 2014, the BOROUGH OF SHIPPENSBURG, Cumberland and Franklin Counties, Pennsylvania, a duly incorporated municipal corporation and political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, hereby files its Municipal Claim for abatement of nuisance fees due and owing, including penalty and filing fees of $21.50, for a total of Three Hundred Sixty Dollars and Ninety Cents ($360.90), and sets forth the following: 1. Claimant is the Borough of Shippensburg, with its principal office at 111 North Fayette Street, P.O. Box 129 Shippensburg, Pennsylvania 17257. 2. The Owner of the subject improved real property against which the present Municipal Claim is filed is Urban Leasing Trust of 12 Carroll Street, Westminster, Maryland, 21157 -4831. 3. The improved real property against which the present Municipal Claim is filed is located at and known as 437 East King Street, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17257, also known as Cumberland County parcel 32 -33- 1869 -044. 4. The authority under which the present Municipal Claim is filed is the Municipal Claims and Tax Liens Act ", Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, amended (53 P.S. Section 7101, et seq.). The authority for the assessment and collection of interest, attorney fees, if any, and filing 0 2cl 1 (!*&79's R-41 3osm�> costs is Section 7106(a) of said Act [53 P.S. §7106(a)], as well as Chapter 99 and Chapter 11, Article 1 of the Borough of Shippensburg's Code of Ordinances. 5. This Municipal Claim is filed for abatement of a nuisance on June 28, 2013 and July 22, 2013, assessed or established for the following unpaid amounts: Abatement of Nuisance on June 28, 2013 Labor $92.63 Equipment Rental $52.50 10% Penalty $15.31 Fuel $ 8.00 $168.44 Abatement of Nuisance on July 22, 2013 Labor $100.42 Equipment Rental $ 55.00 10% Penalty $ 15.54 $170.96 Plus filing cost $ 21.50 TOTAL MUNICIPAL CLAIM: $360.09 6. Plus interest at a legal rate thereof from the date of filing of the present Municipal Claim, plus additional penalties and interest thereon, if any, and/or unbilled as of, or subsequent to, the date of filing of the present Municipal Claim.
