Owens Facts: • Starting 12/03/13 for about 3 weeks we were unable to shower, do laundry, and use toilets without the powder room toilet over flowing into the foyer. • 11/29/13 found out that our gas fire place did not work when the Heller gas company came to give us a tank and check our lines, was not replaced till 1/11/14. • 1/27/14 water pipes burst and water came pouring down into the living room, could not use baseboard heat till 2/26/14. • During that time there was a hole in the ceiling due to being fixed, the hole was 6'x2'. • Only source of heat during this time was space heaters and fire place. The'heat was escaping right out of the 6'x2' hole that did not have insulation in it until we complained and they just put it up there in a sloppy manner. When the insulation was put in, there were still holes in which you could stand under and feel the cold air. There was also insulation blowing/falling down into the front room. • 6 year old daughter could not sleep in her room because there was no heat. • College books are damaged by water and 1 will need, to pay $216.65 for them because they were a rental and now they are not able to be return. • 2/05/14 oven stopped working, was not fixed till 2/25/14. • The hole in the ceiling was fixed on 3/15/14, but small things still need done. • Breakers have been blowing every week since we moved in on Dec 1st, 2013 and has not been fixed, landlord has been told multiple times. • Freezer has not worked correctly since we moved in on Dec 1st, 2013 and landlord will do nothing about it. • We have not been able to use the house to its full potential since we moved in because there has always been something wrong with the house. • We are currently looking for a new place, but love the location of this house because of schools and family.
