Re: Estate of Beverly A. Beard
No. 21-05-202 Orphans' Court
Plenary Guardianship Petition
Dear Judge Oler:
As you know, a hearing in the above-referenced matter was scheduled for Tuesday,
March 29, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. Last week, Beverly Beard was transferred to Select Specialty
Hospital, a separate intermediate care facility which is located on the 5th floor of Holy Spirit
Hospital. I was advised this morning by Ms. Beard's case manager at Select Specialty Hospital
that Beverly Beard died earlier this morning.
We would therefore request that the hearing scheduled for March 29th be cancelled.
I have advised Michael M. Jerominski, Esquire, of Ms. Beard's death, and he is willing to
assist Donald L. Stoner, who was Ms. Beard's emergency guardian of the person, with the
administration of her estate, if the grant of letters of administration can be obtained.
Very truly yours,
