Having my license suspended constitutes a hardship and will prevent me from fulfilling my military obligations. I
am a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Reserves and have been in the Army Reserves for 22 years. I have
served in Iraq twice and am currently attached to a Reserve Unit in Owings Mills, MD. I must be able to get to
my Unit when required for monthly duty, and must be able to report to other bases such as Ft. Dix, NJ - Ft.
Knox, KY and anywhere else that I am sent and required to drive military vehicles.. One of my duties within my
Unit is to teach the Driver's Training Course, without my Driver's License I will not be able to conduct my
military job. Additionally, in the civilian sector, I am currently searching for a job. I have a Bachelor's Degree in
Business Management and have applied for positions throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. I
must be able to attend interviews, and if hired, travel to work daily.lt has been six years since the violation that
is causing this suspension occurred - I am working hard to clear up old issues and I am hoping the court will
see that it would be a detriment to both my military & civilian careers to suspend my license.
