The Decedent died owning residential real property, which was in rather poor condition and required extensive work to make it saleable. As such, the property has still not been placed on the market but will be shortly. Until we know the actual price at which the property sells, we cannot complete the Inheritance Tax form. We have estimated the tax due based on an approximate net estate value of approximately $888,888.00 resulting in an estimated Inheritance Tax due of$40,000 (at the 4.5% lineal rate for Class A beneficiaries.)
