PETITION FOR GRANT OF LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION
I. The petition of the undersigned respectfully represents that:
2. Your petitioner, who is 18 years of age or older, applies for letters of administration on
the estate of the above decedent.
3. Decedent was domiciled at death in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with her last
principal residence at 1128 Columbus Avenue, Borough of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.
4. Decedent, then 47 years of age, died on March 23'd, 2005.
5. Decedent at death owned personal property with estimated value as follows:
a. Miscellaneous personal belongings
b. Checking account
c. Savings account
$2,500.00
$3,000.00
$3,000.00
6. Decedent does not own any real estate.

7. Petitioner Donald 1. Stoner, friend of the deceased for over twenty years, after a,;::
proper search, has ascertained that the decedent left no will and the decedent was
survived by no heirs.
8. When there are no intestate heirs, 20 Pa. C.S.A. S 3 I 55(b) allows the Register of Wills
to grant Letters of Administration to "other fit persons."
9. Having knowledge of decedent's affairs, and being willing to serve as Administrator,
petitioner is a "fit person."
THEREFORE, petitioner respectfully requests the grant of Letters of Administration in
the appropriate form to the undersigned.
