APPOINT A PLENARY GUARDIAN OF HER PERSON AND ESTATE
ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this 30th day of July 2014, upon review of the Petition to Adjudicate
an Incapacitated Person and to Appoint a Plenary Guardian of Her Person and Estate,
the Court appoints Andrew Charles Sheely, Esquire, as Guardian ad litem for Jo Ann
Seker, with compensation to be provided pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S. § 5511(c).
It is hereby ORDERED and DIRECTED that a hearing on the Petition is
scheduled for 6 October 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom Number Six of the
Cumberland County Courthouse, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A CITATION is issued upon
Jo Ann Seker to show reason, if any, why she should not be adjudicated an
incapacitated person and why a guardian should not be appointed. Written notice of the
petition and hearing in la�ge type and in simple language shall be given to Jo Ann Seker
no less than twenty (20) days prior to the hearing in accordance with 20 P.S. 5511(a).
At least twenty (20) days' notice of the hearing together with a copy of the
petition shall be given personally or by certified mail to all persons who are not under
any legal disability and who would be entitled to share in the estate of the alleged

incapacitated person if she died intestate in accordance with 20 Pa.C.S. § 5511(a).
Notice shall also be given to Susan Staub based on the possible Power of Attorney and
her cohabitation with Jo Ann Seker and to Dierdre Lindenmuth based on her
cohabitation with Jo Ann Seker. Notice shall also be given to the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, Office of Attorney General, as a possible intestate heir to the estate of
the alleged incapacitated person.
Furthermore, the alleged incapacitated person shall be in attendance at the
hearing unless it can be established by her physician that her mental or physical
condition would be harmed by her presence at the hearing. This may be established in
the form of written interrogatories.
