Dear Register:
This Inheritance T�Return is submitted with certain confidential information to reflect the
liability for Inheritance Tax on assets passing from the decedent to beneficiaries via beneficiary
designation.
The Will will not be probated but the filing of the Inheritance Tax Return and payment of
Inheritance Tax should generate a"File Number" assignment so as to properly identify taxes paid
and documents submitted.
The documents, copies of which will be submitted directly to the Department are:
1. A copy of the decedents Will (not offered for probate at this time).
2. The full names and social security numbers of the designated beneficiaries.
This information will provide your office with the ability to assign a"File Number" and
accept payment tendered of$33,321.48 in Inheritance Tax Liability.
