Mateya, Esquire and files the within Petition for Grant of Letters of Administration and in support avers the following: 1. William Roy Pressley, Jr., who resided at 279 Ridge Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, died intestate on May 21, 2014. 2. William Roy Pressley, Jr., is survived by the following children: a. David Pressley,having a last known address of 5104 Griffendale Lane, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772; b. Yvette Bailey, having a last known address of 624 South 20'' Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104; C. Shelli Scott, having a last known address of 1718 Berryhill Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104; d. Traci Carter, having a last known address of 305 Buckley Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17112; C. Lori Mitchell, having a last known address of 9632 Lucerne Ave, #31, Culver City, CA 90232; f. Heather Pressley,having a last known address of 9103 Joyce Lane, Hummelstown, PA 17036; g. Billy Pressley,having a last known address of 1040 Biscayne Blvd, #3105, Miami, FL 33132; h. Bryan Pressley,having a last known address of 3911 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011; and i. Brianna Pressley,having a last known address of 3911 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. 3. William R. Pressley, Jr.,was predeceased by his wife Sandra J. Pressley on August 15, 2005. 4. The aforementioned heirs of William R. Pressley,Jr.,have signed renunciations in favor of Bryan Pressley, with the exception of Yvette Bailey. 5. A Petition for Grant of Letters of Administration along with the six{6}Renunciations was filed with this Honorable Court on or about August 14, 2014. 6. On or about August 18, 2014, a Renunciation was filed on behalf of David Pressley renouncing his rights to serve as Administrator in favor of Bryan Pressley. 7. The only outstanding renunciation is from Yvette Bailey,who refuses to sign any documents associated with the estate of William R. Pressley, Jr. 8. Correspondence as mailed via First Class Mail to Yvette Bailey on June 9, 2014, requesting that she sign the Renunciation in favor of Bryan Pressley. A copy is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"and incorporated herein by reference. 9. On or about July 14,2014, a second request was mailed via Certified U.S. Mail, Return Receipt Requested to Yvette Bailey requesting that she sign the Renunciation in favor of Bryan Pressley. A copy of the Certified Mail Receipt is attached hereto as Exhibit"B" and incorporated herein by reference. 10. The United States Postal Service attempted to deliver the aforementioned Certified Mail to Yvette Bailey on or about July 17, 20I4. A copy of the Tracking information from the U.S. Postal Service is attached hereto as Exhibit"C" and incorporated herein by reference. 11. On or about August 25, 2014, the Certified Mail forwarded to Yvette Bailey was returned to Mateya Law Firm as being unclaimed. The original Certified Mail is attached hereto as Exhibit"D" and incorporated herein by reference. 12. On or about August 20, 2014, this Honorable Court issued a Citation upon Yvette Bailey advising her that she had 20 days from the date of the notice to show cause why Letters of Administration should not be issued to Bryan Pressley. A copy of the Citation is attached hereto as Exhibit"E"and incorporated herein by reference. 13. The time limit for a responsive pleading from Yvette Bailey has passed and no response has been filed. WHEREFORE, upon consideration of the foregoing, it is respectfully requested that this Honorable Court issue Letters of Administration and appointing Bryan Pressley Administrator of the Estate of William Roy Pressley,Jr. Respectfully submitted, Mark A. Pressley,Jr. Renunciation Dear Ms. Bailey, My condolence to you on the loss of your father. I knew your father and had done legal work for him over the years. He was a man who liked a challenge. He will be missed. I recently had the opportunity to meet with Billy Pressley and Bryan Pressley to discuss the administration of your father's estate. They told me about a meeting which included most of Bill's children.At that meeting, it was determined that Billy and Bryan would handle the estate. I suggested to them that only one of the two be named as the administrator of your father's estate, with the understanding,that both of them would confer on matters together. They agreed, With that in mind, I would like to ask you to sign the enclosed Renunciation form. This form is being sent to all eight of Bill's children (nine minus Bryan who we propose serve).As his children, you each have the right to serve as the administrator. I am asking that you renounce your right to serve as the administrator in favor of Bryan. This does not mean that you will receive more or less of the estate than you would have otherwise. It simply means that you will not be the one working with our office to pay the bills, pay the fees and taxes and do the work of the administration of your father's estate. I need you to sign the Renunciation from in favor of Bryan,have the form notarized, and return it to our office in the enclosed envelope. Once we have received all of the signed Renunciations, we will open your father's estate and have Bryan appointed as Administrator. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
