PETITION FOR WITHDRAWAL AS COUNSEL OF RECORD
FOR THE ESTATE OF W. PURNELL PAYNE
AND NOW comes Marianne Rudebusch who respectfully represents:
1. Marianne E. Rudebusch was appointed as the Executrix of the Estate of W.
Purnell Payne on April 2, 2010.
2. The Law Offices of Susan Lederer were retained by Marianne E. Rudebusch,
Executrix, on March 11, 2010, to assist with the administration of the estate.
3. On August 18, 2014, The Law Offices of Susan Lederer filed a Praecipe for
Withdrawal and Entry of Appearance with the Court of Common Pleas,Cumberland County
Orphan's Court Division.
4. Marianne E.Rudebusch,who is licensed as an attorney in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, inadvertently signed the Praecipe, thereby entering her appearance as the
Attorney of Record for the estate.

5. On August 29,2014,The Attorney General's Office of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, Heather Rittman-Vance, Esquire, filed the Commonwealth's Motion to
Compel the Executrix to File an Accounting of her Administration of the Estate of William
Purnell Payne.
6. On September 9, 2014,Marianne E. Rudebusch filed a Praecipe to Withdraw
as Counsel of Record for the Estate, because it was never her intention to act in the capacity
of an attorney for the estate, since her practice of law is nearly totally limited to Family Law
matters, and she lacks the requisite knowledge and experience to administer an estate such
as the decedent's.
7. The court informed Marianne E. Rudebusch that she would have to file a
Petition to be removed as Counsel of Record for the estate.
WHEREFORE,Marianne Rudebusch respectfully requests that this Honorable Court
remove her as Counsel of Record for the Estate of W. Purnell Payne.
