Whereas, the Owner is about to execute contemporaneously herewith, a contract, with s id
contractor, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Pennsylvan a, for
the General Construction work located within those two adjacent racks of land situate in
Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Being all of Lot No.2 and the Estern
one-half of Lot No, 3, Block '"A" in the Plan of Lots known as Glennwood Farm Estates,
said Plan is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland Count
Pennsylvania, in Plan Book No, 10, Page 3. Being all of Lot No.4 and the Western one-h
Lot No.3, Block "A" in the Plan of Lots known as Glennwood Farm Estate, which said PI IS
recorded in the Cumberland County Recorder's Office in Plan Book 10, at Page 3, Being t e
same two tracts of land which Edwin S. Metzger, granted and conveyed to Gordon E. Fry, J " by
deed dated January 29, 1971 and recorded in Cumberland County Deed Book 423 Page 523
Being known and addressed as 6405 Glenwood Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania,
Now, Therefore, on, February 23, 2005, at the time of and immediately before the execu ion
of the principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said owner to the sai
contractor to commence work on the said project, or purchase materials for the same in
consideration of the making of the said contract with the said contractor and the further
consideration of One Dollar paid to the said contractor by the said owner, it is agreed that no
mechanic's claims or other liens shall be filed against the building and/or ground appurtenant
thereto by the contractor, or any sub-contractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen 0
any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased 0
furnished in connection with the construction of the said project or any part thereof, the right t
file such liens being expressly waived and relinquished herewith.
