GARDNER, : JURY TRIAL DEMANDEI Defendant COMPLAINT AND NOW, comes the Plaintiff, Mary G. Stum, by her attorney Stephen J. Hogg, Esquire and respectfully sets forth as follows: 1. Plaintiff is Mary G. Stum an adult individual currently residing 1058 Alexander Spring Road, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17013. 2. Defendant is Robert J. Gardner, an adult individual currently residing at 800 Opossum Lake Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013. 3. Plaintiff is the mother of Defendant. 4. Since 1999, Plaintiff has loaned various sums of money to the Defendant based on several promises from Defendant to Plaintiff as set forth in the following Exhibits: LAW OFFICES OF STEPHEN J. HOGG 19 S. HANOVER STREET SUITE 101 CARLISLE, PA 17013 A. Payments on Defendant's telephone bill totaling $2,062.7E as (Exhibit 1); B. Payments on Defendant's electric bill totaling $1,450.73 (Exhibit 2); C. Payments for Defendant's life insurance premiums totaling $1,924.10 (Exhibit 3); D. Payment for the purchase of a bulldozer in Defendant's name totaling $7,500.00 (Exhibit 4); E. Payment for WSI-Harrisburg Hauling in the amount of $415.95 (Exhibit 5); F. Payment for Grave Opening in the amount of $850.00 (Exhibit 6); G. Payment for PennDot in the amount of $63.50 (Exhibit 7) and H. Payment for taxes in the amount of $699.91 (Exhibit 8). 5. Defendant promised to repay Plaintiff based on the on the letter attached hereto as (Exhibit 9), in the receipt for purchase of the bulldozer attached hereto as (Exhibit 10) and the notation from Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens attached hereto as (Exhibit 11). 6. Plaintiff expended a total amount of $14,966.97 in loans to Defendant. 7. Defendant has failed to repay Plaintiff any amount whatsoever on the aforementioned loans.
