Depositions of Robert Howard and Dennis Howard, as well as Robert Surfield scheduled
for December 17, 2014 were cancelled when counsel for Robert Howard and Dennis Howard
notified all legal counsel that his clients had agreed to settle all their claims in return for a
specific sam�aid by the Estate of George W. �-Iowar�.

The settlement funds were paid by the Estate of George W. Howard to Attorney
McKnight and Releases were also drafted and sent to Attorney Mateya for his client's signatures.

Attorney Mateya has now notified counsel that Robert Howard has refused to sign the
Releases required to settle this case.
7.
A conference is required to cietermine whether the settlement should be accepted by the
C;,ur�, or fer t::e Cour�to:�.�1�cn irie outstar.ding �etiti�n� and M��io�1s.
WHEREFORE, a Status Conference of counsel should be scheduled to review the
matters in this case before the Court.
