I have just been engaged by the Executrix of the above Estate, Andrea M. Lacy,
to prepare, file and pay whatever taxes might be due. I will prepare the REV. Form
1500.
The Executrix thought that since her mother was on "Medicaid" in a nursing
home (Manor Care, Carlisle, PA) and she had less than $5,000.00 on a checking
account, no return was necessary to be filed.
Since the Estate did not advertise the "Notice of Death as required, I will have to
do so, and since it requires at least a three (3) consecutive week advertisement - I must
wait to see if any one responds before I prepare the Form 1500.
1 advised her, a penalty will be owed, so she is aware of what is now required.
