I revoke all other wills and codicils that I may have previously made,.� �� ARTICLE 1 My just debts and expenses of my last illness, funeral, and administration of my estate shall be paid by my Executrix from the principal of my residuary estate as soon as practicable after my death. ARTICLE 11 I direct that I am to be cremated. ARTICLE III All inheritance, estate, and succession taxes (including interest and penalties thereon, but not including any generation skipping tax) payable by reason of my death shall be paid out of and be charged generally against the principal of my residuary estate without reimbursement from any person. This provision is not a waiver of any right which my- Executrix has to claim reimbursement for any such taxes which become payable as the result of any property over which I have the power of appointment. Page 1 of 6 ARTICLE IV I give, devise and bequeath all of my property, real, personal, and mixed, as follows: A. Since I made certain financial provisions for my granddaughter, Jessica Witt, to help with the cost of her college undergraduate education, I have made the same financial provisions for my granddaughter, Christine Gammie, who is in her final undergraduate semester at the Salisbury University in Maryland. In the event that I die prior to my granddaughter, Christine Gammie's, graduation from Salisbury University, I have made my daughter, Melissa J. Gammie, Executrix of my Last Will and she is aware of this provision and is hereby directed to see to the payment of those funds to Salisbury University on behalf of Christine Gammie. Any unused funds shall go into the remainder of my estate to be distributed as described in Paragraph B below. B. The rest, residue and remainder of my estate shall be distributed to my children, Melissa J. Gammie and Christopher B. Gammie, in equal shares, provided that they survive me by thirty (30) days. In the event that either of my children fail to so survive me, I give, devise, and bequeath that child's share to their living children, in equal shares. In the event that either of my children fails to survive me by thirty (30) days and that child is not survived by children, my deceased child's share shall be distributed to my living child. ARTICLE V In addition to the powers conferred by law, I authorize my Executrix, in her absolute discretion: Page 2 of 6 A. to retain in the form received and to sell either at public or private sale, any real estate or personal property except that which I specifically bequeath herein; B. to manage real estate; C. to invest and reinvest in all forms of property without being confined to legal investments, and without regard to the principal of diversification; D. to exercise any option or right arising from the ownership of investments; E. to compromise claims without court approval and without consent of any beneficiary; F. to file any federal income tax return for any year for which I have not filed such return prior to my death; G. to make distributions in cash or in kind, or in both, and to determine the value of any such property; H. to employ any attorney, investment advisor, or other agent deemed necessary by my Executrix and to pay from my estate reasonable compensation for all their services; and I. to conduct along with or with others, any business in which I am engaged or have an interest in at the time of my death. ARTICLE V[ I nominate, constitute, and appoint Melissa J. Gammie, Executrix of my Last Will and Testament. In the event of her renunciation, death, resignation, or inability to act for any reason whatsoever as my Executrix, I nominate, constitute, and appoint Christopher B. Gammie to act as my Executor. I hereby relieve my Executor, whether original, substitute, or successor, from Page 3 of 6 the necessity of posting security in connection with his or her duties as such in any jurisdiction in which he or she may be called upon to act so far as I am able by law to do so.
