AND NOW, this 5th day of March 2015, upon review of the Petition for
Appointment of Plenary Guardian of the Person and Estate in Accordance with 20
Pa.C.S.A. §5513, the Court appoints Robert P. Kline, Esquire, as Guardian ad litem for
Marcella Gouse, with compensation to be provided pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S. § 5511(c).
It is hereby ORDERED and DIRECTED that an emergency hearing is scheduled
for March 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom Number Six of the Cumberland County
Courthouse, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the hearing shall be to determine
whether the temporary emergency guardianship order entered by the Court on March 2,
2015 is presently necessary to ensure Marcella Gouse's safety or if the prior order's
provisions are no longer needed.
Furthermore, the alleged incapacitated person shall be in attendance at the
hearing unless it can be established by his physician that her mental or physical
condition would be harmed by his presence at the hearing. This may be established in
the form of written interrogatories. Alternatively, if available, presence may be done via
two way audio / video conference.
