As I explained,Philip passed away on January 7, 2015 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The family chose not to publish an obituary so I cannot provide one. I am enclosing a copy of the death certificate for your information and records. We are in the process of opening an Estate Administration in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. As part of the Petition, we will list Jacob as the sole heir of Philip's estate. Margaret and Philip have agreed to serve as the Administrators of the estate. The first form I am enclosing is titled"Renunciation". By signing this form you are agreeing to allow them to administer Philip's estate. This document must be signed before a Notary Public. Pennsylvania Register of Wills are permitted to require a Fiduciary Bond. The second document enclosed requests the bond be waived. Again the document must be signed before a Notary Public. They may still require a bond but I have a stronger argument if you agree to sign this document. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
