Alexander by his Attorney JAMES M. BACH and files the within MOTION TO RENOUNCE A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN A DECEDENT'S ESTATE. 1. Joshua M.Alexander is the Administrator of the Estate of Joan L.Alexander. 2. In his capacity as Administrator of the Estate of Joan L.Alexander,Joshua L. Alexander has received notice that the Estate of Joan L.Alexander has a beneficial interest in the Estate of John S.Alexander, Jr., the father of Joan L. Alexander and the grandfather of Joshua M.Alexander. 3. It is the intent of the Estate of Joan L.Alexander,to renounce the beneficial interest in the Estate of John S.Alexander,Jr. The renunciation would be in favor of Joshua M.Alexander, individually. 4. The Estate of John S.Alexander, Jr. has requested a court order (see Exhibit "A"),that is exemplified, in order to proceed with the renunciation. S. This Motion to renunciate is filed pursuant to the Pennsylvania Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code under 20 Pa. C.S. 6202. WHEREFORE,Joshua M.Alexander,Administrator of the Estate of Joan L. Under 20 Pa. C.S. 6202, a personal representative may disclaim on behalf of a decedent, but must first obtain court authorization for such disclaimer from the court with jurisdiction over the estate, Therefore, if you wish to proceed with the disclaimer, you will first need to obtain court authorization for such disclaimer in Cumberland County. Once you have obtained such authohzaUon, please send an exemplified copy ofthe court,order to"rne at the address below so that I may record it with the Allegheny County Register of Wills.
