ORDER OF.COURT
AND NOW, this 6th day of July 2015, upon consideration of the Petition
of Donald Young, Ann Shields-Young and Taylor Ann Young to adjudicate an
incapacitation person and to appoint a plenary guardian of their person and estate
with respect to Brandon Owen Young, an adult domiciliary of Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, residing at 10 Appaloosa Way, Carlisle, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, and following a hearing held on July 6, 2015, at which the allegedly
incapacitated person was not present, his presence having been excused by the
court pursuant to medical testimony indicating that his appearance would be harmful
to his condition, at which the allegedly incapacitated person was represented by
James R. Demme[, Esq. and at which evidence was presented by the Petitioner in
support of the petition, and based upon the Findings of Fact contained in the
accompanying opinion, the Court finds that Brandon Owen Young is an
incapacitated person, he is consequently adjudicated as such, and Donald Young
and Ann Shields-Young, whose address is 10 Appaloosa Way, Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania are appointed plenary co-guardians of his person and estate.
In the event that Donald Young or Ann Shields-Young are unable or unavailable to
act, Taylor Ann Young of 10 Appaloosa Way, Carlisle, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, is appointed to serve as the alternate guardian of the person and
estate of Brandon Owen Young. The guardians for Brandon Owen Young shall be
vested with final authority concerning significant decisions regarding his health,
welfare,_education, and financial matters, after,consultation with Brandon Owen
Young. Under the supervision of the guardians, Brandon Owen Young shall be
afforded the opportunity to make smaller, day-to-day decisions independently, in
ways that give due consideration to the scope of his abilities and limitations.
No bond shall be required of the guardians.
