YORDI TO EECOME A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED
STATES.

Frederick Yordi ,beinE duly sworn according to law,declares end says that
he is a native of the Canton of Bern,Switzerland,and a citizen of said
Country;that he is now residing,and for the past seven years and upwards
has continuously resided, in Mechanicsburg,Cumberl=nd County,Pennsylva.nia�
that he is thirty-nine years of age or thereabouts,and that it is,and Dior
the last three years and upwards has been,bona fide his intention to be-
come e citizen of the Untied States,and to renounce forever all allegiance
and fidelity to any foreign prince ,potentate, state,or sovereignty what-
ever,and particularly to the Chief -'xecutive and ` overn°ient of the C^.nton
of Bern and avilidapy of Switzerlznd of which he is now a citizen.

UNITED STATES.
Be it remembeitied,that on this /d - day of February in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hudred and two before me,the
of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Curiberland,personally ap-
peared Frederick Yordi ,who being duly sworn according to law,upon his
solemn oath did declare,depose ,and say,that he is a native of the Canton
of Sern, Switzerla.nd;and a citizen of said Country;that he is now resid-
ing,and for the past seven years and upwards has continuously resided,in
Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Jounty,Pennsylvania; that he is thirty-nine years
of age or thereabouts,and that it is,and for the last three years and
upwards has been,bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the
United States,and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any
foreign prince ,potentate, state ,or sovereinty whatever,and particularly
to the Chief Executive and Government of the Canton of Rem and at,y
of Switzerland of which he is now e, citizen.
