Jones respectfully represents as follows: 1. That Decedent, Arthur P. Jones, resided at 4118 Rosemont Avenue, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and died on March 21, 1977. 2. That Petitioner, Dorothy V. Jones, who resides at 4118 Rosemont Avenue, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, was married to the Decedent and was a member of his household. 3. Tha t Petitioner is the surviving spouse, having been married on January 28, 1947, in Winchester, Virginia. 4. That the Decedent died intestate and that application for Letters was not made. S. That your Petitioner is entitled to the family exemption by virtue of being the surviving spouse of the Decedent, who died domiciled in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. BOOK 104 pm 825 , ;" ". 7. That the property of the Decedent consists of the following: A. Passbook Savings Account with Commonwealth National Bank, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Account No. 25-0001714-6 having a balance of $ 543.96 B. 1973 Montego Sedan, Serial No. 3H02FS44832. Present value of 800.00 C. Five shares of Common Stock of Aycock, Inc., Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, having a total value of TOTALS 1,985.95 $3,329.91 Copies of appraisals concerning the above items are attached to this Petition, marked as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein. 8. That your Petitioner has made the following disbursements, exclusively from her own funds, prior to the filing of the within Petition: A. Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, Pa. Funeral Bill $2,179.19 B. Register of Wills - Filing fee for Inheritance Tax Return for Insolvent Estate 3.00 C. Register of Wills. - Filing fee for Petition to Settle Small Estate 5.00 TOTALS $2,187.19 9. 1hat your Petitioner has no notice or knowledge of any unpaid claims against the Estate of Arthur P. Jones. 10. That an Inheritance Tax Return for Insolvent Estates has been filed with the Register of Wills of Cumberland County and that no Pennsylvania inheritance tax has been assessed. 11. That no notice'has been given to any of the heirs listed above, who, with the exception of Petitioner, are the, children of Petitioner and Decedent, since Petitioner is entitled to the entire amounts of the assets in Decedent's estate. WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays your Honorable Court to order and direct that the property of the Decedent, as enumerated above, be distributed solely to the Petitioner for the reason that Petitioner is entitled to the family exemption, said exenvtion being $2,000.00, and that Petitioner paid, out of her own funds, the funeral bill, said bill being $2,179.19. -2- BOOK 104 pm 826 ~4 '. Jones Dear Mr. Bogar: I have your letter of December 13, 197~ and you are correct that Mr. Jones owned five (5) shares of Common Stock of Aycock, Inc., Camp Hill, PA. The value of the shares at June 3D, 1977, which is the fiscal year ending of the company, amounted to 397.19 per share or a total value of $1,985.95. Mr. Jesse N. Aycock, Chairman of the Board, has instructed me to inform you that the company will purchase the five (5) shares at the above stated price.
