Mr. Harold S. Irwin, Junior adVised,me on 30 May 1979 that Melanie's
bequest did not earn any interest. If this is true,"it would appear
that an estate that is in excess ot $50,000 may not be properly managed.
ThEre is ample evidence in the public domain for payment,or interest on

monies owing. National Service Life Insurance Company provides for pay-

, ment of inte$est in the event of late policy payoff. I believe the
EXecutrix was beneficiary of one such policy of deceased. Farmer's
Trust Compa~, 1 West High Street, Carlisle pays interest when settle-
ment of an estate takes more than thirty days. It is also my ~nderstanding
that other banks in Carlisle have a similiar, policy.
I,'John Otto do hereby request that Orphans' Court of'Cumberland County,
P~nnsylvania do the following:
award Melanie Jon Otto, an incompetent person, 'interest
on $1000 at the rate of six percent per annum compounded
daily from 1 February 1978 thru 12 October, 1978;
