I, ELIZA E. KRAFFT, of the City of York, York County,
Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do
make, publish and declare the following as and for my last will
and testament, hereby revoking and maki~g null and void any and all
former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
FIRST: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses
shall be paid by my hereinafter named executors as soon after my
death as may be found convenient.
SECOND: I give and bequeath to my nephew, Theodore H. Weigand,
Jr., two of my antique chairs, which I shall have marked for him,'
to be his ~bsolutely.
THIRD: I give and bequeath to my niece, Louise Welsh, one of
my diamond rings with the largest stone therein, to be hers absolutely.
FOURTH: I give and bequeath to my niece, Virginia L Gartside,
all of my chinaware, to be here absolutely.
FIFTH: I give and bequeath to my grand-nephew, Roger H. Gart-
side, the diamond ring that belonged to my late husband, David H.
Krafft, to be his absolutely.
SIXTH: I give and bequeath to my grand-niece, Delores A.
Gartside, one antique living-room table, which I shall have
marked for her, to be hers absolutely.
SEVENTH: I give and bequeath to my great grand-niece, Christine
A. Gartside, two of my antique chairs, which 1 shall have marked
for her, and also my gold bracelet, to be hers absolutely.
EIGHTH:' I give and bequeath to my great grand-nephew, Michael
R. Gartside, all my good silverware, being place settings, to be his
absolutely.
NINTH: I give and bequeath to my great grand-nephew, John E.
Gartside, all of my cut glassware, to be his absolutely.

TENTH: I give and bequeath to my great grand-niece, Mary Kay
Gartside, my diamond ring which contains the smaller stones, to be
hers absolutely.
ELEVENTH: I direct my hereinafter named executors to sell all
the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, of whatever kind and
description and wherever situated, at either public or private sale,
and I give and bequeath the proceeds therefrom as follows:
(a) I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($560.00)
Dollars to the First Church of the Brethren, York, Pennsylvania,
absolutely, in memory of my late husband's mother, Elizabeth
Krafft, to be used for the general purposes of said church.
(b) I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars to the Christ Lutheran Church, Manchester Borough,
York County, Pennsylvania, absolutely, in memory of my laxe
husband's sister, Katie H. Free, to be used for the general
purposes of said church.
(c) I give and bequeath the sum of Fifteen Hundred ($1,500.00)
Dollars to the Trinity United Church of Christ, York, pennsyl-
vania, absolutely, to be used for the general purposes of
said church.
(d) I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars to the Trinity United Church of Christ, York,
Pennsylvania, in trust, nevertheless, and the income therefrom
shall be used to place flowers in said church at Christmas time
of each year, in memory of my two sisters, Ida Gartside and
Mary Jane Weigand, and myself.
(e) I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
to The York County Blind Center, York, Pennsylvania, absolutely,
to be used for the general purposes of said Center.
(f) I give and bequeath the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00)
Dollars to my nephew, C. Henry Gartside, absolutely, if he survives
me. If my said nephew does not survive me, then I give and

bequeath said sum to his wife, Virginia T. Gartside, absolutely.
(g) I give and bequeath the sum of Nine Thousand ($9,000.00)
Dollars to my nephew, Theodore H. Weigand, absolutely, if he
survives me. If my said nephew does not survive me, then I
give and bequeath said sum to his wife, Sarah Jane Weigand,
absolutely.
(h) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars to my nephew, William H. Weigand, absolutely.
(i) I give and bequeath the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00)
Dollars to the following children of my late brother, William
Welsh, to be divided equally among them: Pauline Welsh, Marquerite
Welsh, Ruth Attig and Louise Welsh. If either of said
beneficiaries predeceases me, then her share of said legacy
shall be paid to her heirs-at-law.
(j) I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars to the fOllowing children of my late brother, Norman F.
Welsh, to be divided equally among them: Norman F. Welsh, Jr.
and Mary Jane Foust. If either of said beneficiaries predeceases
me, then I give and bequeath their share of said legacy which
he or she would have taken, if living, to his or her heirs-at-law.
(k) I give and bequeath all the rest of my said residuary
estate, absolutely, to my nephew, C. Henry Gartside, and his
wife, Virginia T. Gartside, or the survivor of them, for their
kindness and understanding during the illness of my late husband,
and their consideration for me in the late years of my life.
(1) It is my desire that the legacy hereinbefore set
forth in sub-paragraph (k), of this PARAGRAPH ELEVENTH, shall
equal at least fifty per cent (50%) of my residuary estate as
set forth in this PARAGRAPH ELEVENTH, and therefore, I specifically
direct that if the legacy set forth in said sub-paragraph (k)
shall not equal fifty per cent (50%) of my said residuary estate,

then said legacy shall first be computed so as to equal fifty
per cent (50%) of my said residuary estate, and all the
previous legacies hereinbefore set forth in this PARAGRAPH
ELEVENTH shall abate proportionately.
TWELFTH: I direct that all estate, inheritance, transfer,
legacy or succession taxes, which may be assessed or levied with
respect to my estate, or any part thereof, whether or not passing
under my will, shall be paid out of my residuary estate as an expense
of administration and without apportionment.
THIRTEENTH: I nominate, constitute and appoint my nephew,
C. Henry Gartside, his wife, Virginia T. Gartside, and The York
Bank and Trust Company, York, Pennsylvania, executors of this my
last will and testament.

I, Eliza E. Krafft, of the City of York, York County,
Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish and decla!'e this Codicil to
my Last Will and Testament.
I hereby ratify each and every provision of my will executed
the 23rd day of ~arch, 1965, except insofar as such will is
inconsistent with the terms of this instrument.
Paragraph Eleven Section G. I hereby cancel. I dir~ct this
paragraph to read as follows. I give and bequeath the sum of Five
Thousar;d (5000.00) Dollars to my nephew Theodore H. u,eigand,
absolutely, if he survives me. If my said nephew does not survive
me, then I give and bequ~)ath said sum to his ",rife, Sarah Jane
Weigand, absolutely.
Paragraph Eleven Section H. I hereby cancel. I direct this
paragraph to read as follows. I give and bequeath the sum of Five
Thousand (5000.00) Dollars to my nephew william H. Weigand,
absolutely, if he survives me. If my said nephew does not survive
me, then I give and bequeath said su~ to his wife, Marjorie Weigand

Paragraph Ten. To ~y great grand-njece, Nary Kay Gartside,
I bequeath one diamond ring. I wish to make known, at this time,
that I have misplaced or lost "this ring which I have bequeathed

to my great grand-niece. Instead, I 'Want to bequeath to her a sum
of money, in the amount of the appraised value of the ring
bequeathed to my niece, Louise Welsh, which is set forth in
Paragraph Three.
