Dear Ms. Fishel:
As you Imow, we represent the Executor of the Estate of Jacob
H. Miller, Sr.
In his capacity as fiduciary, the Executor filed a Pennsyl~
vania Inheritance Tax report, and reported therein on Schedule C the
transfer of the property from James Birtle and wife to Jacob H.
Miller and Naomi E. Fishel, and the later transfer from Jacob H,
Miller to Naomi E. Fishel.
As the foregoing transfer was wi thin two years of the date
of death, it is considered to be totally taxable on a value of $41,000,
and the same has been approved by the Transfer Tax Division of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The responsibility for this tax is on you as transferee, and
is in the sum of fifteen percent (15%) of $41,000, together with any
interest that may be due thereon. You should make payment directly to
the Register of Wills Office in the Cumberland County Court House,
