ESTATE OF IRENE D. PIPER, DECEASED
LATE OF THE BOROUGH OF NEWVILLE
DECREE AWARDING REAL ESTATE
AND NOW, to wit, this 10th day of October 1978, the First
and Final Account of Harriett P. Brenneman, Executrix of the
Last Will and Testament of Irene D. Piper having been confirmed,
the following described real estate set forth in the Statement
of Proposed Distribution is ordered, decreed and awarded
TO: Harriett P. Brenneman and John E. Brenneman,
her husband, as tenants by the entireties, of
R. D. 1, Shirley Lane, Boiling Springs, PA 17007
ALL that certain lot of ground situate in the South Ward of the
Borough of Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded
and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a corner on Big Spring Avenue, formerly
known as Depot Street; thence along part of Lot No.5 now or
formerly of W. H. Lehman North 73-1/4 degrees West 137.4 feet
to a point; thence by other property conveyed to Robert G.
Highlands and Helen M. Highlands by deed dated May 22, 1956
and recorded in 17 "E" 75, South 16-3/4 degrees West 44.65 feet
to Lot No.3; thence by said Lot No.3 (now a public alley)
South 73-1/4 degrees East 137.4 feet to said Big Spring Avenue;
thence along said Big Spring Avenue North 16-3/4 degrees East
44.65 feet to the place of Beginning.
BEING improved with a two story brick dwelling known as
No. 109 Big Spring Avenue.
BEING the eastern portion of those same premises which
Myrtle M. Elliott, widow, by deed dated November 28, 1955,
granted and conveyed unto D. M. Piper and Irene D. Piper, his
wife. The said D. M. Piper having died December 12, 1955 title

vested by survivorship in Irene D. Piper. The said Irene D.
Piper conveyed the western portion of said premises to Robert G.
and Helen M. Highlands by deed dated May 22, 1956 and recorded
in 17 "E" 75. The said Irene D. Piper died March 2, 1978 leaving
a last will and testament dated February 10, 1978 duly probated
and remaining of record in the Office of the Register of Wills
of Cumberland County, wherein she devised the residue of her
estate, of which the premises herein described formed a part,
to her daughter, Harriett P. Brenneman, who, together with her
husband John E. Brenneman, are the persons to whom said real
estate is awarded.
