Burke, II, an adult individual with a current address of 46 Victoria Way, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17011. 2. The Defendant is Shawn D. Burke, an adult individual with a current address of 2167 Canterbury Drive, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17055. 3. At all times relevant herein, the Defendant was retained by the Plaintiff to act as the Plaintiff's financial advisor helping with investrnents, tax planning and other financial advice. 4. In December 1999, Plaintiff loaned the sum of $24,000.00 to the Defendant for his personal use, with the agreement that the Defendant would rnake payments of $500.00 per month until the amount was repaid in full. 5. Thereafter, Plaintiff made regular monthly payments for four rnonths and thereafter made irregular rnonthly payments of $500.00 per month with the last payment being rnade on March 3, 2005, leaving a balance on the account of $14,150.00 still due and owing. 6. Since that date, no further payments have been rnade. 7. Despite dernand, Defendant has failed and/or refused to pay the outstanding balance of $14,150.00. 8. Defendant is in default of the parties' agreement in that he has failed to make regular monthly payments, and since March of 2005 has failed to make any payments whatsoever. WHEREFORE, the Plaintiff requests this Honorable Court to enter judgment in favor of the Plaintiff and against the Defendant in the amount of $14,150.00, plus interest and cost of suit.
