McKERROCHER NO. 1979 PETITION FOR ACCOUNTING To The Judges Of Your Honorable Court: The petition of Bruce R. Berkley respectfully repre- sents: 1. Your petitioner is an adult individual residing at 4104 Hoodvale Road, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and is the Executor of the within estate, Letters Testamentary having issued on the sixth day of June, 1978. A true copy of said Letters Testamen- tary is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". 2. Peggy L. Gish is an adult individual currently , residing at 2703 Waldo Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania., 3. Peggy L. Gish is a granddaughter, and residuary legatee, of the decedent, Louise C. McKerrocher. 4. Petitioner is personally aware that the decedent, Louise C. McKerrocher, maintained a large collection of proof sets, mint sets, and miscellaneous coins at her apartment on Bridge Street, New Cumberland, pennsylvania. 5. petitioner is personally aware that during the several years preceeding her decease, the decedent, Louise C. McKerrocher, shared the aforesaid Bridge Street apartment with Peggy L. Gish. 6. On or about June 7, 1978, petitioner was orally advised by one Kathey wilkersen, an adult individual residing at 509 South Second Street , Steelton, Pennsylvania, and an acquaintance of Peggy L. Gish, that Peggy L. Gish had misappro- priated various items of property, including coins and other - 1 - valuables, theretofore belonging to the decedent, Louise C. McKerrocher. A true copy of the signed.statement of Kathey I Wilkersen is attached hereto as Exhibit "B",. 7. On or about June 15, 1978, Petitioner, in his capacity as Executor of the estate of Louise C. McKerrocher, executed a Criminal Complaint against Peggy L. Gish for theft by unlawful taking upon the facts hereinabove described. A true co'py of said Complaint is attached hereto as Exhibit "C". 8. On or about June 21, 1978, P~titioner held a tele- phone conversation with Peggy L. Gish at which time she related the following: (a) That she, Peggy L. Gish, following the death of Louise C. McKerrocher, decided to move to Florida, and, to that , end, retained H. E. Brinkerhoff and ?ons Moving and Storage to move goods and furniture; (b) That among the goods contracted to be moved, and I . subsequently shipped by-Brinkerhoff to Florida, were various , trunks or boxes containing coins theretofore belonging to Louise C. McKerrocher; . (c) That she, Peggy L. Gish, was fully aware that I coins her property. these were not I 9. Upon information and belief, during the per.iod June }s, 1978, until on or about May 1, 1979, Peggy L. Gish was a fugitive from justice and her wpereabouts unknown. 10. Petitioner is unable to properly account for the assets of the within estate absent an accounting from Peggy L. Gish of the estate assets which, it is alleged, said Peggy L. Gish 'of 1020 Bridge Street, New Cumberland break open luggage cases and trunks, etc., which were known to me to belong to Louise C. McKerrocher, and remove from same coins and other valuables which, in my opinion, appeared to be worth thousands of dollars. These coins and valuables were then packed in trunks and suit cases and were moved to Florida.
