Dear Ken:
The total credits on the First and Partial
Accotmt were corrected on the copies filed with the Register
of Wills. Unless I hear from either Mrs. Skipper or
Mr. Fink, I shall not concern them with this matter.
We listed the real property at $176,000.00 because
that is the amount stated in our inventory and accepted
by the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax appraiser. That was
done on the basis of the assessment and we did not secure
an appraisal so we saved the tax on $12,000.00. However,
Internal Revenue Service requires a certified appraisal
which came out at $188,000.00. There is no conflict here
since each agency has its own determination.
The distribution to the heirs which you plan for
December and the Executor's fee payable to yourself will be
noted in the next accotmt we file.
I paid the sum of $39.00 to the Register of Wills
to file the First and Partial Accotmt, so you may send me
an estate check in that amOtmt.
