Searight, of the Borough of Newville, Cumberland County, pennsylvania, do hereby revoke all Wills and Codicils heretofore made by me and do hereby make, publish and declare this instrument to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following: FIRST: I order and direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease. SECOND: I hereby direct my Executrix or Executor, as the case may be, to have a suitable headstone erected at my grave inscribed with my name and date of birth and death, and also to have erected a headstone at the grave of my brother John Oscar Bower inscribed with his name, date of birth June 7, 1885 and date of death October 30, 1960 in the event that at the time of my death his grave remains unmarked, and to have a headstone erected at a gravesite reserved for my sister Margaret B. Bower, date of birth February 22, 1895 and date of death to be com- pleted upon the death of my said sister. These headstones are to be selected by my Executrix or Executor, and the price to be paid to be at her or his sole discretion. THIRD: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real and personal and wheresoever situate or being of which I may die seized or possessed or to which I may be entitled at the - 1 - ''l! "1"" l <.f ., ij ~ . ~ , ~ time of my death, I give, devise and bequeath unto my sister Margaret B. Bower alsolutely and in fee provided that she be living at the time of my death. In the event that my said sister Margaret B. Bower shall predecease me, then and in that event I give, devise and bequeath my said residuary estate unto my following named nephews and nieces - Richard L. Bower, Zoe B. Brunt, Jean B. Lehman, Sarah Longstreth and John Longstreth; to them or to the survivors of them living at the time of my death in equal shares absolutely and in fee. FOURTH: I hereby direct, authorize and empower my Executrix or her successor at her discretion to sell, mortgage, lease, exchange or otherwise encumber or dispose of at public or private sale for such price or prices and upon such terms and subject to such conditions as she may deem proper any and all real property wherever situated at any time forming a part of my estate; and to make, execute, acknowledge and deliver all proper writings, deeds of conveyance and transfers to the purchaser, purchasers or lessees thereof. LASTLY: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my sister Margaret B. Bower Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and, in the event of the incapacity, resignation or death of the said Margaret B. Bower either before or after my own death, I nominate, constitute and appoint John Longstreth Executor of this my last Will. Furthermore, I direct that no bond or other se- curity shall be required of the said Executrix or her successor in order that she or he may qualify and serve as Executrix or Executor hereunder. - 2 - 1018 ~ , " , . \ ".
