PETITION PURSUANT TO SECTION 5103 OF THE
PENNSYLVANIA PROBATE. ESTATES AND FIDUCIARIES
CODE FOR DIRECTION TO PAY MINORS' ESTATES
TO SEQUESTERED BANK DEPOSITS
AND NOW comes John O. Mullen, Executor of the Estate of Thursa L. Peters,
deceased, by his Attorneys, McCrea and Davis, and petitions your Honorable
Court for an order directing the form of distribution of the interests of
certain minor beneficiaries in the said estate. and respectfully represents
as follows:
1. That there are three grandchildren of the late Thursa L. Peters who
are beneficiaries under the Codicil to her last will, duly probated on
August 9, 1978, to wit:

2. That each of the said minors are to receive as his or her distribu-
tive share of said estate a 1/21 share of the net distributable estate account.
3. That, therefore, the total value of the estates of said minors is
"t'Jl7.foO each.
4. That, in view of the small size of the said estates of said minors,
establishment of a formal trust account each would be wasteful; utilization of
sequestered bank accounts is a more economical and practical method of pre-
serving the estates of the aforesaid minors.
5. That, pursuant to the powers granted in section 5103 of the Pennsyl-
vania Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code, Your Honorable Court has authorit

and power to direct that the estates of said minors be deposited in sequestere
accounts in the names of the minors, in banks, building and loan associations

or savings and loan associations insured by a Federal governmental agency; to
wit, sequestered savings accounts in The Peoples National Bank, of Shippens-
burg, Pennsylvania.
6. That the minors herein named shall not be capable of effecting any
withdrawal from any such account until the minor attains his or her majority,
except as authorized by a prior order of this Honorable Court.
WHEREFORE, your petitioners pray that the estates of the said minors of
the value of less than $10,000.00 be paid and deposited into sequestered
savings accounts to be held in the name of the minors, deposited in The
Peoples National Ban~of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, in accordance with
Section 5103 of the Probate Estates and Fiduciaries Code, without the appoint-
ment of a guardian or the entry of any security.

of the foregoing petition and after notice to be given by cef'hfleJ:.
mail to the said minors and their parent of the presentation of the said
petition, it is hereby ordered and decreed that the estates of the said minors
be distributed to sequestered savings accounts in The Peoples National Bank
of Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Said accounts to be held in
the names of Edward R. Smith, Lucinda K. Smith and Shirley J. Smith. Said
minors shall not be capable of effecting any withdrawal from the aforesaid
sequestered account until the minor attains his or her majority except as
authorized by prior order of this Honorable Court, if no objections are
received within twenty (20) days of the date of service of said notice.
