1. I direct my hereinafter named Executrices to pay all of my just
debts and funeral expenses as soon after my death as may be found con-
venient to do so. I direct that my funeral arrangements be made with
Hoffman Funeral Home and that my body be interred beside that of my

2. My house and lot of ground known as 138 Conway Street~ Carlisle~
Pennsylvania, together with the household furnishings located therein, I
give to my wife, Margaret M. Smith, for and during the term of her natural!
life and at her death, the same to be added to the residue of my estate and

disposed of as hereinafter set forth. During the life tenancy of my said wife!
I direct that she shall be responsible for paying all real estate taxes,

carry adequat e insurance, pay all utilities and make any necessary
repairs.
3. I direct that my 75% interest in the business known as Smith Music
House, the same consisting of merchandise held for sale~ fixtures and
equipment~ accounts receivable and business bank account, shall be
valued as of the date of my death and the net value thereof determined.
(10% of said business is owned by Charles H. Sperow and 15% is
owned by Florence E. Chronister).
I direct that the said Charles H.
Sperow and Florence E. Chronister shall be given first opportunity to
purchase my 75% interest in said business at the net asset value thereof

determined as above set forth~ in the same proportions as they now own
an interest in said business so that if said privilege is exercised by each
of them~ Charles H. Sperow will acquire an additional 30% of said business

of 60% provided that each one or either one indicates in writ ing a desire to

(a) One-half to my wife. Margaret M. Smith" so long as she shil live;

Upon the death of my said wife" Margaret M. Smith" I direct that said
trust shall term inate and the principal thereof shall be paid as follows:
(a) One Thousand ($1.000.00) Ddlars to my step-son"
Richard S. Kennedy" of 505 "D" Street" Carlisle" Penna.
(b) One Thousand ($1" 000. 00) Dollars to my step-son"
William F. Kennedy" of 30 "G" Street, Carlisle" Penna.

their heirs and assigns.
5. I hereby nominate" constitute and appoint my said daughter,
Florence E. Chronister and my said daughter" Mildred W. Zeigler,
as Co-Executrices of this my last Will and Testament. and I further direct
that neither one shall be required to post any bond to secure
