File the attached Abstract of Judgment in your Court against the
defendant above named, GERALD A. JAMES, whose last known address was
1203 Bridge Street, Apt. B, New Cumberland, PA 17070, and in favor of the United
States of America, plaintiff, in the amount of $3,631.63 principal, together with interest
on unpaid principal at the rate of 8.00 percent per annum through March 5, 2001, in the
sum of $1,568.38; $72.86 administrative charges; plus interest at the rate of 8.00
percent from March 5, 2001 to the date of judgment in the sum of $114.62 ($.80 per
diem); plus, filing fees allowed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §2412(a)(2) in the sum ~)f
$150.00; making a total due in the amount of $5,537.49.
Judgment is to accrue interest at the current legal rate as of the date of
judgment, compounded annually until paid in full pursuant to the provisions of
28 U.S.C. 1961.

ABSTRACT OF JUDGMENT
NOTICE
Pursuant to Title 28, United States Code, Section 3201, this judgment, upon the filing of this abstract in the
manner in which a notice of tax lien would be filed under paragraphs (1) and (2) of 26 U.S.C. §6323(f), creates a
lien on all real property of the defendant(s) and has priority over all other liens or encumbrances which are
perfected later in time. The lien created by this section is effective, unless satisfied, for a period of 20 years and
may be renewed by filing a notice of renewal. If such notice of renewal is filed before the expiration of the 20-
year period to prevent the expiration of the lien and the court approves the renewal, the lien shall relate back to the
date the judgment is filed.
