Supplemental Appraisement Form.
Dear Harold:
Pursuant to our conversation of February 18, I enclose a Supplemental
Schedule B showing as an additional asset of the Estate of J. Floyd Barrick
the executor's commission which was deducted from the Statement of Debts
and Deductions filed August 1, 1979 and later waived by the executrices. I
calculate the additional inheritance tax due as $143.28 based on this waived
amount being treated as an additional asset. I also calculate interest from
the original due date of July 9, 1979 to February 9, 1981 as $13.61. Accord-
ingly, I enclose a check in the amount of $143.28 and a check in the amount
of $13.61. Please process this and notify me of any additional monies owed
on account of per diem interest.

Dear Ms. Thumma:
Thank you for the response to our letter of
December 19, 1980 concerning the referenced estate.
Please be advised that if you waived receipt
of the executor's commission it cannot be deducted on
the Inheritance Tax Return. In order to correct the
return, you must contact the Register of Wills of
Cumberland County and amend the Statement of Debts and
Deductions approved October 18, 1979. The Register of
Wills will then recalculate the tax and interest and
prepare a new tax assessment. Legal action will not be
initiated if the additional tax and interest is paid by
February 6, 1981.
If you have any questions concerning this
matter, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
