IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
ORPHANS' COURT DIVISION

ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, November 1, 1978, at 10:20 a.m., the
court having heard the ~e,pttmony' of Dr. William A. NickLes
and Nancy B. Seeds, and from this testimony the court finds
that Nan W. Schoch is an incompetent within the meaning of
~550l of the Pennsylvania Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries
Code, 20 PA C.S.A. 5501, and the First National Bank of
Shippensburg is appointed the guardian of her estate.
The presence of Nan W. Schoch at the hearing is
excused, because the court is satisfied that because of her
physical and mental condition her welfare would not be
promoted by attending the hearing.
Pursuant to ~5536 of the above act, the guardian
is authorized to expend principal as well as income from the
estate of Nan W. Schoch for the following purposes:
1) To pay for the past, present and future care
and maintenance of Nan W. Schoch at the Leader Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, or other
similar institution.
2) To pay for the past care and maintenance of
Louis T. Schoch at the Sou~h Mountain Restoration Center,
and to make reimbursements for any individual parties who
may have paid for said past care.

3) To pay any required amounts for the burial
and medical expenses of her deceased husband, Louis T. Schoch,
who died on October 13, 1978.
4) To pay any bills submitted by Dr. William A.
Nickles for his attendance here today;anda.1spf~r' the legal
expenses for Jerry Wei&le, Esquire, for the preparation of
this petition and for the hearing ~today.
