It is understood that each of the assigned Magisterial District Judges shall have full power and
authority to preside in their own districts during the period of their assignment elsewhere, and further,
that the presiding District Judges of the various districts of which another District Judge is assigned to
the said district. The purpose of these assignments is to provide an available District Judge in each of
the districts on a continuing and continuous basis.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED that venue in the class of offenses which occur on the
property owned and controlled by the Cumberland County Prison shall be transferred from Magisterial
District Judge Susan K. Day in magisterial district 09-3-03 to Magisterial District Judge Jessica E.
Brewbaker in magisterial district 09-2-02 who shall accept filing of complaints, hold preliminary
arraignments, hold preliminary hearings, and conduct all such other business related to said class of
offenses. This order to remain in effect until further Order of Court.

AND NOW, November 20, 2006, the following special assignments of Magisterial District
Judges are made:
1. Thomas A. Placey, District 3-4, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 4. 2006, and continuing to midnight
December 10,2006.
2. Susan K. Day, District 3-3, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3,2-1,2-2,
3-1,3-2,3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning December I L 2006, and continuing to midnight
December 17 , 2006.
3. Charles A. Clement, Jr., District 1-1, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-2, 1-3,2-1,
2-2,3-1,3-2,3-3,3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 18,2006, and continuing to
midnight December 24, 2006.
4. Paula P. Correal, District 2-1, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3,2-2,3-1,
3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 25, 2006, and continuing to midnight
December 31, 2006.
5. Robert V. Manlove, District 1-2, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-3,2-1,2-2,

midnight January 7, 2007.

midnight February 4,2007.

3-1,3-2,3-3 and 3-4 for the period beginning February 5, 2007, and continuing to midnight
February 11, 2007.

It is understood that the magisterial district judge specially assigned in this Order shall have
criminal and civil jurisdiction and authority of the assigned magisterial districts and shall continue
to exercise jurisdiction and authority in their elected or appointed magisterial district. The presiding
magisterial district judges of the assigned magisterial districts shall have full power and authority to
preside in their own districts during this period of special assignment. The purpose of these assign-
ments is to insure the availability at all times within this 9th Judicial District of at least one magister-
ial district judge.
