ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this 28th of February, 2006, after a hearing, the Court finds that
David F. Heckendorn is an incapacitated person and hereby appoints Mary Anne
Heckendorn as temporary guardian of his estate and person. It appearing that the
emergency necessitating the filing of this Petition will continue beyond seventy-two (72)
hours from the date of this Order, the Court hereby extends the Emergency Order
appointing Mary Anne Heckendorn, Emergency Plenary Guardian until March 22, 2006.
A hearing on the issue of Permanent Guardianship is scheduled for Wednesday,
March 22, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom No.5, on the 4th Floor of the Cumberland
County Courthouse, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
The defendant's counsel is hereby given notice of the Permanent Guardianship
hearing scheduled for March 22, 2006 and she shall serve David F. Heckendorn with a
written copy of this order in the Cumberland County Prison with the assistance of their
staff.
The Court finds that the following additional notice to others of the hearing on
appointment of emergency plenary guardian of the alleged incapacitated person is
feasible under the circumstances and directs that same be attempted to be made upon
the following persons in the following manner: Fred M. Heckendorn and
Darin G. Heckendorn by first class United States mail.
Leslie Tomeo, Esquire, shall continue in her appointment as counsel to represent
David F. Heckendorn, the alleged incapacitated person.
