As we discussed, there were no assets to this estate. The only reason the estate was opened was to secure a single life insurance policy in the amount of $2500.00. This policy was immediately assigned to the funeral home that took care of Ms Marlow. I might add that this firm negotiated the settlement of this claim as the policy did not cover all of the funeral expense.
