INRE:
MICHAEL A. DREWETT, JR.
Deceased
NO. 721-2005
COUNSEL'S PETITION TO WITHDRAW AS COUNSEL FOR THE ESTATE ;"")
PURSUANT TO PENNSYLVANIA RULE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT 1.16--:
1. The Decedent's date of death with respect to the captioned Estate was July 3, 2005.
2. The captioned Estate was opened August 12,2005.
3. Advertisements and Notice to Heirs (the only heirs at law for the Intestate Estate being the
Administratrix, Nancy S. Drewett and the Decedent's father, Michael A. Drewett, Sr.) have been
rendered according to law.
4. At the time that the Estate was opened, Nancy S. Drewett, the Decedent's mother, was
appointed Administratrix; the Decedent's father had renounced his right to administer the Estate in
writing and the renunciation is part of the official file.
5. Serious disagreement has arisen between the Administratrix and the undersigned regarding
both the manner in which final distributions are to be made and the amount of those distributions.
6. The undersigned does not believe he can continue to represent the Estate given the
disagreement described in the previous paragraph.
7. Furthermore, in a telephone conversation of March 14,2006, the Administratrix essentially
told the undersigned that she wishes to conclude the Estate without the undersigned's assistance,
and that is a second reason for which the undersigned wishes to withdraw as counsel for the Estate.
WHEREFORE, the undersigned requests this Honorable Court to enter an Order allowing
him to withdraw as counsel for the captioned Estate, and to provide any other relief the Court
deems appropriate.
