PETITION TO APPEAL DRIVING PRIVILEGE REVOCATION
AND NOW comes Petitioner, Katharine Jeffries, by and through her Attorney,
Marielle F. Hazen, Esquire, and submits this Petition to Appeal Driving Privilege
Revocation and in support hereof avers as follows:
I. On February 20, 2006, Katharine Jeffries received notice from the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation that pursuant to Section 1519( c) of the
Vehicle Code, her driving privilege would be revoked as of March 27,2006.
2. This revocation was based upon the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation determination that Katharine Jeffries' mental capacity is impaired to such
a significant extent that she is not able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
3. Petitioner believes and avers that she is medically able to safely operate a
motor vehicle and that her driving privileges should be restored.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests a hearing be set to determine whether
Katharine Jeffries is medically able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
