HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-1436 " , . a /1/3 (? ;/.1. t-b Stipulations Against Liens 1027 Mumma Road Partnership in the Court of Common Pleas, County of Owner Cumberland , Pennsylvania vs. JEM Group, LLC Number Term, 2006 Contractor Whereas, the Owner is about to execute contemporaneously herewith, a contract, with said contractor, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, for the General Construction work located within the lot ofland situate in the Borough of Wormleysburg, Cumberland County being known and addressed as 1027 Mumma Road, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and being more fully described in Cumberland County Deed Book U, Volume 35, Page 140 and being more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto, incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof. Now, Therefore, on March 7 , 2006, at the time of and immediately before the execution of the principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said owner to the said contractor to commence work on the said project, or purchase materials for the same in consideration of the making of the said contract with the said contractor and the further consideration of One Dollar paid to the said contractor by the said owner, it is agreed that no mechanic's claims or other liens shall be filed against the building and/or ground appurtenant thereto by the contractor, or any sub-contractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen or any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased or furnished in connection with the construction ofthe said project or any part thereof, the right to file such liens being expressly waived and relinquished herewith.
