NO LIEN AGREEMENT

MicheUe L. Pida, hosband arid wife, "Ow.~ERS . ~l~y tha said contractor u~ckn~ok and agreed to
perform certain work necessary to erect a building on the real eslatc of thc owners situate at Lot #$, Allen
Estates, Mechanicsbur§, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT W1TN-ESSETH, That the said Gontractor for and in
consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to him in hand paid at or before th~ ~msealing and delivery
of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby covenant, promis~ and agree
that no m~*.haincs' lien or claim or other lien or claim of lay kind whatsoever shall be fled against the said
building or buildings or the curtilage or curtilages appurtenant thereto, by Contractor or by any sub-
contractor, materialmen or laborers for work done or materials furnished under said contract for and about
said building or buildings or any pal~ thereof, or on credit thereof, and that all sub-contractors, materialmen
and labore~ on said work shall look to and hold Contractor personally liable for all sub-~onu'acts, materials
funllshed and work and labor done, so that there shall not be any legal or lawibl claim of any kind whatever
against Owner for any work done or labor or materials furnished under said contract for and about th~
~ccfion, construction and completion of said buildings as aforesaid, or under any contracts for extra work,
or for work supplemental thereto, or otherwise
AND, in order to give thc Owner full power and authority to protect himsel£and the lot or lots of
ground against any and all claim~ filed by the Contractor or anyone acting under or through him or it in
violation oft_~ foregoing covenant, the said Coutractor for himself, themselves, i~elf, hereby irrevocably
authorizes and ~mpowers any Al'~orney of ally Court of Common Pleas of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, to appear for him, them, it, or any of them, in any of the said Courts of Common Pleas as
Attorney for him, them or it and in his, their, its, name, mark satisfied of record at the cost and expense of
the Con, racier or et'any Sub-ConUactor or Materialman, or Materialn~n, any and all claims or claln~ lien
or liens, filed by or for the Contractor, or any Sub-Contractor or Materialman, or in his or their name
ag,si-st said building or buildings, lot or lots of ground or any part thereof and for such act or acts this shall
be good and sufflcicnt warrant and authority, and a refez~nce tO the Court, Term and Number in which and
whcrc this Agreement sl~ll have ~eeri fll~d shall be a sufficient exhibit of thc authority h~r~in contained to
warrant such action, and thc Contractor for himself, themselves, itself, do hereby remise, release and qult-
claim all rights and all maimer of eh'Ors, detects and imperfections whatsoever in entering such satisfaction
or in anywise touching or concerning the same.
