TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:
The petition of Gerald L. Donovan by and through his attorneys, Weigle & Associates,
P.C., and Jerry A. Weigle, respectfully represents that:
1. Ruth M. Donovan died on February 3, 1967, a resident of, and domiciled in Penn
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, intestate, leaving as the persons entitled to her
estate under the intestate laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania five (5) children, namely
Harold P. Donovan, Lee R. Donovan, Grace D. Donovan Comp, Merle W. Donovan, and Gerald
L. Donovan.
2. Letters of Administration were granted by the Register of Wills, Cumberland
County, on May 8, 1970 (File No. 21-69-339), to Harold P. Donovan and Lee R. Donovan, and
more than twenty-one years have elapsed since the death of Ruth M. Donovan.
3. Harold P. Donovan, Co-Administrator of the estate, passed away on March 8, 1987.
4. Merle W. Donovan passed away on November 11,1989; and Grace D. Donovan
Comp passed away on April 3, 2004.
5. Lee R. Donovan, the surviving co-administrator, has withdrawn as Co-
Administrator and consents to the appointment of Gerald L. Donovan, the petitioner, as
Administrator. A copy of said withdrawal/consent is attached hereto, made a part hereof, and
marked Exhibit A.
6. Your Petitioner is Gerald L. Donovan, a surviving son of Ruth M. Donovan,
presently residing at 265 Quarry Hill Road, Newville, Cumberland County, P A, 17241.
7. Letters of Administration are presently necessary so that mountain real estate can
be liquidated, and application can be made for bank account funds escheated by the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
