Dear Ms. Rubright:
I am in receipt of your Petition regarding Appointment of a Guardian for Fatima
Richardson. While it would appear that the Guardianship is appropriate, I am requesting
that you review Pa.O.C. Rule 12.5,20 Pa.C.S.A. foil. Ch. 7. It would appear that given
the fact that the child is 14 years of age, the petition will have to be filed by the minor
and address all of the items specifically identified in (b) and (c) of the Rule. Upon receipt
of this petition I will set a hearing date and require service by publication of the proposed
guardianship.
I will await your petition.
