MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SERVICES AND SEWER RATES
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township Municipal Authority, of 1220
Boiling Springs Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, by and through
its Solicitors, James D. Bogar, Esquire, and Jennifer B. Hipp,
Esquire, and files the following municipal claim against
CHRISTOPHER B. THOMAS and IRMA B. THOMAS, husband and wife, adult
individuals, owning property located at 1361 Zimmerman Road,
Carlisle, Monroe Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
17013, their last known mailing address being: 1361 Zimmerman
Road, Carlisle, pennsylvania, 17013. CHRISTOPHER B. THOMAS and
IRMA B. THOMAS, husband and wife, are the owners of all that
certain lot of ground, including any improvements thereon, being
more fully described as follows:
ALL THOSE TWO CERTAIN LOTS OF LAND, with the improvements
erected, situate in Monroe Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
TRACT NO.1 BEGINNING at a spike in the center of the
public road from the York Road to Churchtown, which point is

100 feet north of land now or formerly of Dr. William Brod;
thence south 59 degrees 30 minutes West, a distance of 150
feet to a stake; thence North 30 degrees 30 minutes West, a
distance of 100 feet to a stake; thence North 59 degrees 30
minutes East, a distance of 150 feet to a spike in the
center of said public road; thence by the center line of
said public road, South 30 degrees 30 minutes East, a
distance of 100 feet to a spike, the place of BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 100 feet in front on said public road and
extending in depth at an even distance of 150 feet, and
being improved with a one-story ranch type brick dwelling
house.
BEING the same premises which Wilson P. Hurley and Helen L.
Hurley, husband and wife, and The Homestead Group, Inc., a
Pennsylvania business corporation, by their deed dated
December 23, 1994, and recorded February 3, 1995, in the
Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book 118,
Page 283, granted and conveyed unto Christopher B. Thomas
and Irma B. Thomas, husband and wife.
TRACT NO.2 BEGINNING at a spike in the center of the
macadam road leading from Church town to the York Road at the
line of Tract No. 1 herein; thence by said Tract No.1,
South 59 degrees 30 minutes West, 150 feet to a stake;
thence by land now or late of Mervin J. Baer and Fannie E.
Baer, his wife, North 51 degrees 30 minutes West, 37 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence by the same North 30
degrees 30 minutes East, 162 feet, more or less, to a point
in the middle of the aforesaid road; thence in said road
South 74 degrees 30 minutes East, 31.04 feet to a point;
thence in said road South 30 degrees 30 minutes East, 90.4
feet to a spike, the place of BEGINNING. SAID PREMISES
being described according to a survey of W. G. Rechel,
Registered Surveyor, dated October 8, 1958.
BEING the same premises which Wilson P. Hurley and Helen L.
Hurley, husband and wife, and The Homestead Group, Inc., a
Pennsylvania business corporation, by their deed dated
December 23, 1994, and recorded February 3, 1995, in the
Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book 118,

Monroe Township Municipality Authority hereby files this
Municipal Lien for Services and Sewer Rates levied and assessed
from February 3, 1995 through and including March 31, 2006 (first
quarter calendar year 1995 through and including first quarter
calendar year 2006). Said Authority services and sewer rates
were levied and assessed pursuant to Authority Resolution No. 02-
04, same being known as a Resolution of the Board of Monroe
Township Municipal Authority imposing user charges to be
collected from the owner of each improved property served or to
be served by this Authority's sewer systems; and providing for
payment and collection of such user charges. Attached hereto and
incorporated herein are the statements forwarded by Monroe
Township Municipal Authority to CHRISTOPHER B. THOMAS and IRMA B.
THOMAS for sewerage due to be treated from February 3, 1995
through and including March 31, 2006 (first quarter calendar year
1995 through and including first quarter calendar year 2006),
which services total is in the amount of $1,192.90, which sum was
duly assessed against CHRISTOPHER B. THOMAS and IRMA B. THOMAS,
and the real property described herein from the date of said

billing statements as attached hereto, and for which sum, with
interest in the amount of ten (lO%) percent, along with penalties
and all costs, including attorneys' fees, a municipal lien is
claimed against the above-described real property and premises in
accordance with the Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, ~7, as
amended, 53 P.S. ~7l0l, et seq, as amended (Municipal Claims and
Tax Liens) .

Dear Mr. Thomas:
I am contacting you on behalf of Momoe Township relative to your sewer account #1238.
This account is delinquent. As of the last billing notice, same being dated 2/15/06, the
delinquency is in the amount of $1,192.90. The purpose of this letter is to request that this
account be brought current. If the account is not brought current within ten (10) days of receipt
of this letter, a Municipal Lien will be placed against real estate owned by you, same being
known and numbered as 1361 Zimmennan Road, CarlISle, PA. This will result in filing fees,
service costs and attorney's fees. Attomey's fees that are incurred with respect to the collection
of this delinquent account will be assessed. Attomey's fees will be charged at the current rate.
Attorney's fees will be imposed and/or assessed if this amount j'P.mA;n. delinquent after thirty
(30) days from the mailing of this notice (if by certified mail) or within ten (10) days after
mAiling of this notice (if by regular mail). The imposition of assessment of attorney's fees may
be avoided by you making payment in full of the delinquency within ten (10) days of receipt of
this letter as set forth herein.
